How I Realised
Writing by HF, musical response by The Harpies.
Friday reoccuring at intervals between 7pm amd 8pm
Rediscovering the world through the blossoming intelligence of my children and sharing life as a parent in a creative community such as Frome has put me in touch with how political an act of love and the search of beauty can be. This piece was inspired by a moment in my daily life, watching a group of women (the Harpies) singing at a local event. These women who sang beautifully were the same women I had exchanged wet wipes and snacks at my local playground, on more than one occasion. The beauty of this inspired me, and I hope it inspires you.

Hanna Fisher is a mother, a psychotherapist, a lover of freedom and a wannabe artist
The Harpies are a group of mother musicians that compose, perform and create sounds together. Sometimes with voices sometimes with instruments.
